Andrew Barrientez, Jr. is Director of Operations at Yong Sung Lee Hapmudo Martial Arts Studios in Clinton, Maryland. Master Barrientez holds a Sixth-Degree Black Belt Master's Degree in Hapmudo from the World Mudo Federation and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from The College of Southern Maryland. Master Barrientez's academy teaches Hapmudo which incorporates several styles including Hapkido, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Kung-Fu, Kick-Boxing, Kendo, Tai Chi, and weapons training. His academy teaches both children and adults as well as those with disabilities and special needs. Master Barrientez has been honored by the State of Maryland with a Governor's Citation in 2008 and has been named a Black Belt School’s Top Martial Arts School in 2011 by the Educational Funding Company. Prince Goerge's County Board of Education awarded a Certificate of Recognition for his dedication to promote academic excellence in the life of children in 2018. Outside of creating a better community through Hapmudo, he loves attending Washington Nationals & Washington Capitals games. He finds his most joy leisurely playing board games and boating with family and friends.
